Helen shifted from Hamilton to Lower Hutt at the beginning of 2002, having done most of her orthopaedic training in Wellington and gaining a Fellowship in 1993.
Since then Helen has married and had two children, and done a Fellowship in trauma and arthroplasty in Wellington. She has also done a second Fellowship in rheumatoid surgery in Toronto.
Helen worked in Hamilton for five years in private practice and also did some trauma work in Waikato Hospital. Currently, she is working at Hutt Hospital and Boulcott Hospital, and continues to teach trauma management for the College of Surgeons.
Helen is happy to see patients with most orthopaedic problems and her special interests are joint replacements, trauma and rheumatoid surgery.
